Eyeglass lenses come in different materials and sizes, and are suggested according to your prescription needs.

 

CR 39:

We recommend the CR 39 lens for prescriptions from 0.00 to +/- 2.00. This lens is thin and lightweight enough to provide excellent comfort and clarity. CR 39 lenses in lower prescriptions are proven to have crystal clear optics.

 

Polycarbonate:

We recommend the Polycarbonate lens for prescriptions +/- 2.25 to +/-4.00, and can be used for all prescriptions . Polycarbonate lens gives superior eye protection, while being thinner and lighter than CR 39, with comparable optics . 

 

High Index 1.67

We recommend the High-Index 1.67 lens for prescriptions +/- 4.25 to +/- 7.00 . This High-Index 1.67 lens, with superior optics, thinness and overall clarity, is highly recommended for our customers with a higher Rx. There is less peripheral  distortion and increased visual comfort when you use this lens for a higher prescription.

 

High Index 1.74

We recommend the High-Index 1.74 lens for prescriptions +/- 7.25 to +/-12.00. This High-Index 1.74  lens has superior optics, thinness and overall clarity, is highly recommended for our customers with a higher Rx. There is less peripheral  distortion and increased visual comfort when you use this lens for a very high prescription.

 

CR 39 Sunglasses:

This lens is a CR 39 tinted lens that offers a great sun protection available in 3 traditional colors and is typically found in many better sunglasses available at traditional retailers.

 

Polarized Sunglasses:

This Polarized lens is designed to protect your eyes from horizontal glare created by the sun, snow or water or any reflective surface. This lens is ideal for sportsmen and trendsetters alike; a Polarized lens offers the greatest visual comfort and most vivid contrast compared to the basic sunglass lens. With the addition of a back surface anti-reflective coating, found on most high-end polarized lenses, this feature gives you the best glare control available.

Good Anti-Reflective: 6 Month Warranty

Our GOOD coating has good anti-reflective properties and is fairly easy to keep clean. This lens is standard on all of our lens packages. Complete with 100% UV protection and a six-month, unconditional, scratch resistant warranty.

 

Better Anti-Reflective: 1 Year Warranty

This is our BETTER anti-reflective lens coating. Not only is this water resistant, but static resistant as well. Easier to keep clean that our Basic A/R lens, this more durable coating carries a full one-year, scratch resistant warranty along with 100% UV protection.

 

Best Anti-Reflective: Lifetime Warranty!

The BEST anti-reflective coating technology on the market today! This lens is water, static, grease resistant as well. The easiest lens to keep clean and it stays clean the longest; it hardly shows a fingerprint! A lens of this quality is guaranteed for the "Life of the prescription." (As long as you are wearing this Rx and something happens to the lens, return it for a new pair...no questions asked!)

 

Back Surface Anti-Reflective:

Our Back Surface A/R coating is applied to the rear surface of our Basic and Polarized Sunglasses. This is your best option for glare control when using a polarized lens.

 

The Scoop on Progressive Lenses

 

Traditional:

Traditional Progressive Lenses, also known as no-line bifocals, provide the smoothest transition from long distance vision to intermediate vision to near vision, including all the in-between corrections. Instead of having just two different viewing zones (distant and reading) as in bifocals, your new progressive eyeglass lenses provide gradual or progressive powers of correction (from top to bottom), which ease eye strain and provide better vision.

Sunglasses Options

Transitions:

Polarized:

For even better vision, enhance your glasses with polarized progressive lenses. Polarized lenses reduce glaring light by re-distributing the passage of light through the lenses, preventing light from reflecting off of the surface.
